We provide a extensive variety of lumber and wood building products, all manufactured from 'Blue Stain' standing dead beetle kill timber that has been removed largely to protect our infrastructure and communities.
We specialize in both unfinished and pre-finished flooring, siding, paneling, mouldings, as well as offering several styles and types of log and timber frame structures and home packages.

We are building our business on a 'blended value' or 'triple bottom line' business platform that provides benefits to our society and our environment, while producing economic gain.

The Short Story about our Dying Forests:
Trees are the lungs of our planet, and they are dying off in an unprecedented way. Over the last 8 years, I have conducted extensive study in understanding many of the devastating issues, and the potential opportunities, in regards to our dying forests. Currently, there are billions of dead trees in Colorado spanning approximately 4 million acres of forests. Western North America now has approximately 70 million acres of dead forest. Studies across many scientific fields predict that we will experience a 70% forest die off over the next decade or two.

The impacts range from endangered human and animal lives, threatened water supplies that are already in short supply, electrical, communications, and transportation infrastructure damage, declining property values and tourist revenue, carbon off-put out-pacing intake, extensive costs in fire fighting efforts, and more. Already some studies indicate that North American Forests are at a 'tipping point' of putting off more carbon than they absorb - and forests are the second most important 'carbon sink' (carbon absorption and retention) in the world. Ultimately, this devastation is likely to cost many lives, a meltdown in areas of our infrastructure, and billions in cost.

We feel it is our it is our collective responsibility to make better use of our rapidly depleting natural resources, and the use of this timber that is otherwise little more than a hazard and expense is simply the right thing to do.
