I pickup the Last Supper Intarsia pattern from Cherry Tree Toys awhile back and I have been building it for months, I am close to finishing it. there are over 800 individual pieces. I have used Purple Heart, Red Wood, Oan, Maple, Pine, Aspen, Walnut, Ebony. Yellow Heart, Cedar as well as some creative use of watercolor paints to create some custom colors. I can’t tell you how many scrollsaw blades I have broken. Anyways here are a couple of pictures showing the progress. It is about 4 ft by 3 ft. The mess on the bottom of the last picture is where I have been mixing some customer colors.

This is going to go in our church that my wife the Rev. Judy and I are in the process of setting up.

God Bless

I just purchased the plans to do this in leather carving. I’m thinking of maybe including some veneers in the background to give it a “multi media” effect.

Beautiful job. Looks great!
