I was a confirmed bachelor until January, 2007 when I met my bride Sherri. She is the kindest most gentle person I have ever known and she rocks my world. I have two step-children who are dynamite and really well adjusted kids. We live in Katy, Texas spending alot of time doing the sports thing and trying to beat the heat.

My Dad is the inspiration for my interest in becoming a craftsman. He spent his entire adult life as a construction carpenter, which means he can frame a house in no time but don't ask him to make a dove tail joint :)

Really, though, my Dad is the hardest working guy that lives and he has a work ethic that would kill a normal man. I really hope that I can develop some skills that would allow me to make wonderful furniture for those I love and hopefully interest my 10 year old son in wood craftsmanship...giving us decades of time together learning from one another and sharing the experience.
