Many years ago, I remember being asked what I would do if I won the lottery. I replied that I'd probably do some woodworking. Well, I haven't won the lottery but time marches on. I'd like to make some pieces for my 2 boys and their families that they might not toss into the fireplace, even on a cold day. I spent 25 yrs. of my adult life as an independent bayman on the waters of Long Island's north shore. We moved to Oregon about 12 yrs ago and I am now a scrub tech (hand surgeon instruments) at a hospital. I've recently organized my 2 car garage into a shop space. Onward.

Want to know how to post something?
See the drop-down box underneath my Lumberjocks in the upper right hand corner. Click on the arrow and select which type of posting you want to make (Project, Blog entry, Forum topic). This will take you to the appropriate page and you just fill in the form.
Sending Private messages(PMs) to other members
Click on the word” home” next to the profile picture of the member you want to contact ,then click on “send message”
