Wow, what a deal!

I had been searching for a new battery drill. My old one was a 2-speed Kawasaki that I got for $50 at Costco. While it wasn’t a bad drill it had many features I disliked but accepted because of the low cost. While driving a screw, the trigger started to smoke so I yanked the battery and went shopping. No! I didn’t do it on purpose!

I found a great deal on an 18v Dewalt with a half inch chuck at HD for $119. Checked online and my local store had 5 of them in stock. Great! I printed out the web page and took a ride over to my local store. After searching high and low no one could find this drill. So instead of telling me to come back later, they offered me the next better model at the same price…a savings of $80! So I got a DC720KA for the same price as a DC759KA. The only difference I can see between them is the weight…the more expensive drill is lighter.

I’ve used the drill for a few tasks and it’s really nice. Well balanced and plenty of power. I’m a very happy camper.

Heck of a deal! Is it a Nickel metal hydride battery, too?
