Ok.. now this is really something.. I was asked by Charles Neil if I was interested in flying out to Virginia and doing a Maloof like rocking chair class with him..and I gotta say I was floored that he would consider me to do such a class..I have made many Maloof rockers and Sam has given me copies of his templates to make them just like his and as some can see from the tiger maple one in my projects.. they are dead ringers for his Chairs..

This class will be 1 week long and very intensive and information filled so that those that attend, they too, will have the knowledge and skill to make their own Rocker..learning how to master the rasps and files and sculpt wood will be taught too. I will say that after you complete one of these chairs.. it seems to really open up a world of knowledge and the skills are used alot.. Charles is Charging $2,500 per person and from talking to Charles.. we have completely filled up 1 class and almost filled up a 2nd class. If anyone is interested in attending or signing up.. e mail him at and let him know..
