I am building a firewood shed. Part of the framing requires joining three 6×6 pressure treated timbers to form the bottom corners of the overall frame. Each timber is orthogonal to the other two timbers (as in an x,y,z coordinate system.) I’d like to join the timbers with a mortise and tenon type joint. I have searched for methods of making such a joint but the only instructions I have found for joining three timbers are for rafter joints. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or advise me on how to proceed? This is my first attempt at making mortise and tenon joints of any kind. Thank you!
