new (to me) drum sander now a few questions - 4 replies

Just bought a 16/32 Performax Drum sander (now bought and sold under the Jet name). I am looking for a canadian supplier of the sanding strips that this tool needs. I have down loaded the manual and will stert trying to tweak the machine and get it set up. Looks like I may need to order a new feed belt . Any one out there using this machin...

I have a customer looking for some special wood for a boatbuilding project. He has asked for either sitka spruce or vertical grain BC Fir. Can anyone suggest a supplier of these products in Eastern Canada if possible . Some of this has to be in 16 ft lengths. Quebecnewf

I have bought a new book with several plans in it that I would like to use. The book has templates in it for the componets and it suggests transfering the plans and then blowing them up on a photocoper to the correct size. oversize round bench dogs (or how I messed up my new not yet finished workbench) - 11 replies

I am in the last stages of building a new workbench( see projects). Today i discovered I had drilled some of the holes at 7/8” and some at as required in the plans 3/4” After some unmanly like language my question is what to do??? I cannot redrill and the brass dogs only come in 3/4” as far as I know. Ideas????? ...
