I live in a mobile home, and there is a fire code thing about putting a shed 6’ away from the house. I don’t have enough yard or room to do that, so I have a canvas tent standing on my patio (no picture of that yet). Living in Nebraska, it gets pretty cold in the winter and really hot in the summer. In these extremes, I move my shop inside to my laundry room. It’s basically a hallway about 3’ wide. I have my scroll saw on a little table pushed up against the dryer to help with the vibration (still wiggles, though). The drill press for drilling clock insert holes is on the dryer. I use a Dremel tool with the workstation for drilling holes for the most part. I use the washer with a piece of plywood on it to sand. I have a fold-up moveable table saw for cutting down long boards. I have plastic on everything in the laundry room to help keep the dust manageable. I have moved my lamp for the scroll saw over to the board the drill press is sitting on because the table shakes when the saw is on, and that flickering gets to me sometimes :)

I should mention that the white wire thing sitting on the drill press is for haning my stuff to dry after putting the Danish Oil on them :)

Well, Sawdust, it’s a small shop but it’s better than no shop at all. I bet that you enjoy working in your shop and that’s what’s important. Welcome to Lumberjocks.

Heehee :)
Yep, it’s been bad :) lol Poor thing really hasn’t gotten much use lately, but I plan to change that in the next few weeks.
