These are stairs what I wanted to make for long time…I have had “Fine Woodworking on” bending wood book in our toilet reading for years so if have read this article in second picture many many times. It shows how easy is make stairs like that…but in real life I now KNOW it`s not that easy. I am pretty satisfied for final result althougt it took much more time than I thought (I stopped counting in 200 hours total maybe + 300h). I also installed led stripes in steps but they haven`t switched electricity yet.

I like those 60`s danish furnitures and I had opportunity to make small conference table… I added some nice details for it like that carved bowl. Finishing is again oilwax

I wanted to make this saunas bench round like that electric stove (in this picture there is no stones yet) and also shaped for pleasure sitting.. everything is made from alder

This project I mixed modern design with very old wood into spirit of zen… benches are made from alder like that floor were I inlayed yin-yang symbol from birch and heattreated birch. Relief is made from edges of pine beams which are about 200 years old. In the other wall is customers stone relif which I framed with that old wood.

I dont´ like ordinary things…. adding some small details makes it much more fun..for this frame I made end grain list which has this diamond pattern. Widest boards were about 14 inches so it was pretty pedantic to have these boards straight. It`s first oiled and then I added two coats of oilwax

This is third version of my drop design, I wanted to have an illusion how surface of water looks when drop falls down and makes waves.. wood that flames is heattreated birch and white parts are high clossy laminate

Customer wanted this odd corner for better use so I made curved cabinet which has long drawers to maximised this space.

Wood what I used is my favorite heat treated ash, style is same like those beds I made earlyer. Black parts are birch. I made also small level for display and added led stripes under it which gives nice light

The more I have used this rosewood veneers more it start to fascinate me.. combination of rosewood and black is pretty striking

Maybe I have obsession of waves but I really needed to make this table, this time it is for me.. my treasure. I used rgb led stripe so I can change illustration

This bench is made from siperian larch and it´s pretty comfortable to sit and finally I found the tree also…

This “table” was commissioned by customer who wanted to have some beautiful object which you can see first when stepping in to recidence… not that easy to do with this description. It´s made from pine and edges are paddauk because customer love red, also I installed red led stripe under glass so it give nice effect especially when you have some nice glass vase over it

My oldes child turns eighteen this year so I decided to make some furnitures that when he is moving out from home he has ready dining table and bedside tables… again I used led stripe for light which hangs from ceiling. I used heat treated birch and waxed them with oilwax

This project was ordered customer who likes these retro style furnitures (including me) and again I had free hands to accomplish it

These stairs are all white like pretty much interior of this house, I added again led stripes which makes lots of difference. Steps are made from ash which are white waxed

This set I tried to make the design as simple and functional as possible

For this house I did many cabinets and other staff which architect has designed

So finally I got my lampshades ready and installed them also same time I delivered that retro cabinet which goes pretty fine with those lounge chairs..

My customer really likes danish designers specially Arne Vodder furnitures so this is tribute for his style… doors are Santos palisander and frame is birch which has been stained black, it´s about 7 feet wide and 2 feet high

Walls like this is very popular now here in Finland, reminds people how saunas used to be in old times.. smell of smoke comes these days from perfume not from stove. Left side bench is made little different way this time it hangs from metal frame with wire rope so it´s pretty comfortable to sit. Right side is made like before, wood is alder
