Fairly new to woodworking. I bought my first table saw about a year ago. That and the handheld tools I already had was enough to make wagons for my kids Xmas gifts. I was hooked. I've been accumulating tools, both power and hand, since then. Learning about every kind of woodworking I can. Currently doing mostly 3D scroll saw ornaments and just built my daughter's toddler's canopy bed.

I'm also slowly building both a treadle powered combination lathe/scroll saw and a powered lathe. Taking my time with these as the alignments are so critical.

Thank you, Max. I was reading in the forums yesterday about the Ryobi 10” table saw, (of which I own one), and found information I could not anywhere else, so I felt it was time to join. I’m just a beginner at woodworking, but always looking for more info and possible projects.

Thanks Wayne. I am really enjoying the forums so far. Learned already that my table saw is one that should have never left the store cause there’s no such thing as a reasonably easy upgrade. (NON-standard miter slot, SUB-standard rip fence, etc.) Apparently I was not the only one to fall for a pretty “face”. LOL
