Hi all,

I have been wood working off and on for about 30 years. I started building cedar strip canoes about 25 years ago after getting laid off. I thought I was living in an area where I could make a living at it but no dice. Paid work and raising kids has seriously cut into my time since then but I have managed to renovate four houses now. I am currently retired and working on my fifth house. Last year I built my first real shop in 20 years. Lately, besides renovations and completing my shop I have been dabbling in small band saw boxes as gifts and outdoor furniture. I recently completed a wine rack for my son's BD gift. I have bought a shop full of used and some very old machines and when I have time I work at building cabinets for these. I keep busy.

-- I am governed by an attitude of curiosity.
