By trade, I have been repairing furniture for over 40 years and had a love for working with wood since I was a kid. After I was married and we started a family I began making furniture, toys and games for my 4 kids. Now I make them for my 8 grandkids. I built a doll house for my first grandaughter, Ellis. I have been making all of the kids things for different occasions.

My eldest daughter, Sue and I started a company recently called Puzzles for Cures. We started this company to raise awareness of childhood diabilities. Our first project was the Autism Ribbon Floor puzzle, which is currently on the market and is carried in many Learning Express Stores. I continue to work on other projects for children with special needs.

I enjoy seeing other peoples' projects and look forward to posting more of mine. Although I am a new member of Lumber Jocks, I think I am really going to enjoy this site.

I was truly inspired by the chest set. What a work! Ain’t no shame in being proud on that one! Right on, peace.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
