We have prototyped the rough shell of each in poplar to figure out the sizes and joinery. We learned a lot from this process. We all went to the hardwood dealer on Saturday and bought Mahogany for the primary wood, maple for the secondary wood and some Wenge for some trim. Yes this cost more that my first car but it also looks better than my first car.

This week we will start milling lumber for the final project. Keep your fingers crossed.
