As I continue to gain experience, my shop continually evolves. I enjoy trying new layouts and attempting to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of my tools. Like many here, I must make the most of my workspace (a 2 car garage). This means mobile tools and getting creative with storage and organization. On a positive note, my wife has accepted that the garage will never be a place to park again!

While I have failed at many of my attempts, failing at a woodworking project is still better than most other things! I can’t wait to get into the garage everyday. Happy sawdust!

Thanks for making me feel welcome. Joe – I am actually really proud of my tv stand/miter saw station conversion. I am glad that someone else appreciates it. The extensions are attached to the wall and fold up. The cabinet is on casters and rolls out of the way. For some reason, my wife is holding on to the delusion that cars go in a garage! I had to make it mobile in case she ever deems it necessary to be able to park in there. I will be posting photos of this project soon. Thanks again!

Welcome indeed. You’re doing I fine job, most certainly keep it up. I also have to back the car out of the shop, it’s all good.

Have your say...
