Glad I Bought This Sanding Detailer

Glad I Bought This Sanding Detailer

The Sanding Detailer is ideal for finishing those hard to reach areas. The abrasive belt can be indexed. The Sanding Detailer is spring loaded to put tension on the abrasive belt. After the abrasive belt is used up, simply compress the tool and replace the abrasive belt with a fresh one. They are color coded for easy identification of grit. So my wife and I walk into the local WoodCraft store for some scroll saw blades.Since I scrol saw and was looking for some small sanding files. Hea...

Well another year has come and gone and I must have been a real good boy this year. Look what Santa brought me! It arrived in 2 boxes early November and sat in my garage until I was allowed to open it on Christmas Day. What a torture and a display in self control that was. I was drooling like a rabid dog, wanting to tear into it and hook it up etc. but my wife said I had to wait till Santa arrived. I still can’ figure that one out. Why would Santa drop off my present in early November j...

H7507 Router Extension Table for Table Saw

H7507 Router Extension Table for Table Saw

With birthday approaching and my wife asking me what i wanted…..I jumped on this for my t-saw. Installing this by yourself is very doable, but is a bit frustrating. Being cast iron, the surface is very flat, even and the two inserts provided are made of metal (not plastic). I had to make my own fence which was easy enough even without the instructions in the manual. I’ve only used the router extension twice and everything worked as advertised. Grizzly continues to make excellent p...

I remember mentioning to my wife around Oct 2011 that I wanted a nice tablesaw for Christmas. She just said we will see. Then in November she said find one you like and let me know. I looked over lots of saws on the web and settled on the Grizzly 1023RL. When I told her the price, I thought she was have me checked for a brain at the doctors office. Instead she told me to order it since her and my mother-in-law was gong in halves on it. I was floored but happy. Wow a real tables-saw. My exist...

KOMELON Tape for the WorkShop

On my usual Thursday night grocery shopping at WalMart, I was looking through the tool aisle (never know what I may find) I (Ok my girlfriend did( saw this hanging by the tape measures> Hmmm for around $4 bucks I thought I would give it a try because my workbench needed a built in measuring tape. It took me 2 tries to get it on correctly. I was certain it would not stick after re taping 2x but it did. I had to cut it with a dremel since it is a metal backed tape. Definitely, worth it, just no...

My DW788 Scrollsaw Review and purchase experience.

I was told the saw would be received in a week and I got it in about 4 days which was really nice. I also bought the stand that goes with the saw for an extra $46 and it was money well spent. The stand was very easy to assemble. I unpacked the saw (I bought a Used but New one) and could tell the saw had been opened and then repacked. The saw was in perfect condition, no scratches or blemishes at all. I picked the saw up and placed it on the stand and put the tear drop table on which was a sna...
