Drill Clutch, Use them or lose Them?????? #2: The results are in!

I didn’t have a huge response but here are the results so far:

48% A. Need More Powwa!! – Never use the clutch settings.

28% B. Only wooden drywall screws? – Sometimes use the clutch settings.

24% C. I need more settings!!!!- Always use the clutch settings.

It looks like most people don’t use the clutch settings and I think if more responses come in, the results will be skewed even further in that direction.

Sorry, must have missed the original survey.

Actually, I do use the clutch- especially after stripping out and twisting off the heads on brass screws. The power thing is also important, however, it further enhances the need for a clutch to prevent stripping and breakage.

I also use the clutch settings quite often, especially when putting in pocket holes.
