The white ones are turned from green Ash. The darker ones are turned from a piece of Hickory that I pull off a wood pile.

These are made of bodark (Osage Orange). It is a rewarding wood to work with. I have been told it is a hard wood and a hard wood to work with. I have found that if you keep your tools sharp that it’s not that bad.
