you know you are a LumberJock when…. you dig out the area under your house just so you can play with wood!!
Sure sounds like a lot of work!!

Very cool Peter. Not many of us can say we have spent 40 years assembling our shop. The pictures should be quite interesting.

Thanks for the comments and interest displayed. I added a few photos from the outside and an old diagram of the shop giving some indication of sizes, in metric of course. Digging out that clay wasn’t fun but necessary and it did fill a useful purpose in levelling the slope of the land.

I want to create a walk-in door for my basement and that idea makes me tremble. Can’t imagine thinking of digging out the entire basement!!!
