Shop Buddys - 13 replies Wonder how many have a shop buddy to keep you company. I had one of my sons dogs in the shop for a couple of months while he was in Iraq. Her pillow is still in the shop office, and I miss the company. I know now that I need another, and may be getting one tomorrow. Just a thought. |

Short day gone very long. - 4 replies The wife’s car started making noises when the breaks were applied. OK I thought, worn break pads, no sweat. Trying to locate deadbolts for thick doors. - 1 reply One of my customers has built a number of oversize doors 42×2.25 thick and all the local hardware stores only handle deadbolt and lock sets to fit doors up to just over 1.75 inches thick. Any body know a sorce? |

rockwell delta super 900 radial arm saw - 14 replies I was just given a radial arm saw for the shop. It had been sitting for a number of years under a shed roof with no sides. End grain routing - 2 replies I haveing a problem with burning on the bottom of some 4.5×4.5 inch pieces that I glued up. The bit is a 1/2 inch roundover bit, it’s a rockler, and almost new. The rest of the pieces are coming out like cutting through butter, the end grain however is getting burnt, I whould love any help. Pete |
