DeWalt Scroll Saw #1: My first scroll saw
After cutting out several letters and other objects. I found that my Dremel Trio was not the best tool to do my bidding. It was very time consuming sanding and clamping pieces a surface in order to get the job done. I had some scroll saw experience , some 20 years ago, but I knew I had to pick one up. I read several reviews here on LJ and watched many youtube videos. I did not want to spend $500 on a scroll saw, but I do have a woodworking principle, “buy quality once”. I even researched some of of the cheaper lower grade scroll saws due to my budget. I decided that I would buy the Dewalt 788 scroll saw. I also considered the excalibur, but it was too pricey. ...
