Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty

Thanks, for the welcome!

I have been lurking on the site for a few weeks now, and finally took the plunge to join up.

I am currently without a workshop, been some time since I have been able to work. But things are turning around for me now, and I should start setting up the shop again this summer, just in time for it to be 110°+ outside, lol.

I mostly work in the craftsman style, I really don’t have an influence, just kind of look at a lot work out there, old and new, and start forming a plan in my head, make a few notes and start working jotting notes as I go. I have the starts of a case design that I will make a chest and dresser set out of.

I will try to put some pictures up of a piece I still have around the house. It’s a coffee table with a marble top with wide slats.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom
