I started my woodworking and furniture design journey somewhere in the end of the 80. I was still in school and living with my parents at the time. My fathers tools was more in the direction of metal working so my first project was mostly made out of metal not so much out of wood. My hobby at this stage was more in direction of electronics and software programming but then this part become my work and start doing more and more woodworking as a hobby.
Today I’m a product manager at an instrument manufacturer company that make instrument for the telecommunication industry.
I have had a woodworking shop since 2000 or so. Today it is located just next to my house in a 45 square meters garage, even if the garage never ever have had a car in it as today. I am planning to expand it with addition 26 square meters hopefully in the beginning of 2012.
My taste in furniture design has changed little bit over time but I love the Scandinavian designs with it simplicity.
Then doing new project I always want to push my self and learn new techniques and specially techniques that does not involves so much power tools.
