Table Saw Storage

Here is a solution I came up with for capturing the storage potential under my contractor saw…

Dust collection comes to the cupboard under saw… the back up the saw needs to be sealed up to create more velocity and targeted DC.

The far right bottom drawer will be used to store saw blades… a customer blade holder will be made… Any ideas on that?

I would like to make a overarm dust collection… any ideas on that?

Flip Top Tool Storage

Here I have my flip top tool station. Everything came out great except the slots in the flop top for the eye’d bolts. I had to get them in and it looks pretty rough but hey it is shop furniture.

There is a 1 3/8” dowel going through the flip top, it rests in corresponding slots in the sides. The dowel has a small 3/4” dado 1/2” from the end. This keep the top centered and the sides from getting pushed apart and the top falling through.

I decided to put metal brackets on the dado’ed bottom. This is due to the lack of top support (top must rotate).

I have put dowels in the bottom and the side to store the spindle sander parts and spools. As the top is flipped, obviously everything that isn’t attached falls. I decided to put in on the bottom and not on the exterior sides to keep the footprint small

Drill Charging/Storage Station

I should say right off the bat I did not come up with this design, I have seen a smaller version on Lumber Jocks and decided it was a must have.

I used shop plywood, old cherry stain, green spray paint (all I had), 3 inch PVC, 1 power strip, and attached to wall via french cleat.
