My shop is in the basement and is approximately 12’ x 20’ in size. I have most of the major power tools including a Jet contractor saw, Jet 6” jointer, Dewalt 12” planer, Jet shopline drill press, Dewalt scroll saw, Ryobi 9” bandsaw, Dewalt CMS. It seems like I’m forever rearranging my tools to make the best use of the space. This is my latest arrangement as of Saturday 4/12. Almost all of my tools are on wheels due to the limited space. I have limited storage but for now it serves my needs. I’m planning on building a more suitable workbench/table and router cabinet with storage one of these days. Hope you enjoy my little man cave !!

Hi Paul,

Your shop looks like it is well organized and you have a nice set up there. You have some nice tools to play with as well. I would enjoy working in there.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Paul

Great looking shop. Your shop is almost the same size as the 14 X 21 shop I am putting in my garage. I have been waiting for it to stay warm so I can tape and paint the ceiling and walls. Got an electrician coming to put a 200amp service in and wire the shop. If you do not mind, please go to my work shop and look at my floor plan and let me know what you think. Most of my smaller power equipment (Dewalt 12” planer, Ridgid belt/spindle sander, Akeda dovetail machine and a bench top mortiser.) will be stored under the work table or storage cabinets by the miter saw. I do not know what type of mortiser to get? Any suggestions?
Thanks for posting

God Bless
tom

That’s not a shop. Too clean. Looks more like a surgery. You have really made the most of the available space.
