Spent the last two hours sizing the uprights to the finished dimensions, as well as the oak drawer dividers with poplar stiles and rails for the drawer divider frames.

I’m thinking bisquits for joining the drawer divider frames.

After an informal lunch meeting (interrupting my day off), I’ll probably spend some time with the planer and get more of my 13/16” oak and poplar to 3/4”

Then, glue up the frames and perhaps set up my router table to cut the dadoes in the uprights for the frame and panel carcase.

You must work in IT. Lunch meetings on a day off sounds real familiiar. Right up there with the 4 hour teleconferences.

I’m looking forward to seeing pictures of the final project.

Ran wood through the planer to 3/4” Glued up five drawer divider frames with bisquits after lunch. Taking a break to pick up kids from school and do some in-law care. Ran out of clamps anyway. I’ll try to get the other five frames done (hopefully more) after supper.

Got a little bit further .. . . .

Glued up all the drawer dividers – sized the uprights – roughed out the drawer fronts and glued up the tops.
