I’ve downloaded the plans. Thinking and visioning possibilities. I see two contrasting woods and inlays instead of negative spaces.

isn’t it going to be fascinating to see all of the different ideas—and all from the same inspiration..

I already said “I see a flood of Greene & Greene Thorsen House Tables in 2007”.

This will probably do more for Greene and Greene than the past Hunnerd Years.

I see we have a lot of good dreamers, & planners out there. This is going to be interesting.

There will be such a resurgence of books and magazine articles, problem is we’ll all be too focused on the next thing to pay them any mind… the smart publisher will print and promote now, not in 3 months ;)

Sounds like Obi is following the Thorsen Table model – 14 pieces not counting the pegs. Interesting….

Bill, You ought to sneak down there and get some pictures of Obi’s design in progress. It is what, about 45 minutes?

Bill is about 15 minutes away.

And my wife just told me we should call ourselves the LumberDORKS to find our cut lists interesting.

Mine is so ”Top Secret” that I’m moving to Modesto and opening a shop there so Bill can’t sneak in and take pictures… I’ve hired Security to shoot anyone they don’t recognise on site, and make sure that they don’t shoot me or they won’t get paid.

Checking Amazon for flak jackets….hmmm

Do not worry Debbie, I can make my own table just fine. Will it be better, who knows. But, it will probably be different than Obi’s.

you can’t compare “different”. As Frank says, “it just is”.
