Making the last part – had to glue up some resaw pieces to get the thickness. Thought I better document it or someone might think I added a piece of plywood to my 2×4 project

When I started to look for the image of a 12 sided figure on the Internet last night, my Honors HS Geometry daughter informed me that this is called a “dodecagon.” Printed it out on the computer the right size and glued it to the top of my piece.

Cut it out “eyeballing” and rotating the piece on the bed of the power miter saw – set on 90 degrees. Sanded the paper off.

Project is assembled and the finish is drying. Probably another coat tomorrow. I will post my project in a couple of days.

K -

I understand the sanity issue. Let’s just say the design evolved after I cut.

But close! It’s a “siitter” but not for a sander!
