« Part 7: Veneering columns with Liquid Hide Glue Part 8 of Hide Glue series no next part

We just published a new video on the reversibility of the animal glues and specifically hide glue through a presentation and 2 projects.

I hope you enjoy those and it answers some of the questions we receive often regarding the understanding of reversibility.

Of course Old Brown Glue has the same property.

Great description and great delivery Patrick.
It can’t be easy dealing with that French director nagging you all the time.
This will be a great reference resource for those of us who crusade for protein glues. Nothing beats a concise professional explanation especially in video form.

Thanks!

You convinced me a while back about the use and value of hide glue, but I’ve never actually tried to rehydrate and separate fully cured parts. Great to see how it’s actually done rather than go hacking around on my own. Thanks.

The french guy is always nagging him, most of the time for no reason, but he is a masochist, what can we do. We only try to please him!
Thank you for the nice comment. I have another video in process, will be sharing it soon.

Thanks for another great video on hide glue. I’m sure you guys can get very busy with your own work and I for one really appreciate the fact you take you own time to make these videos for us.
