I've done dozens of carpentered bookshelves, but I'd like to learn better cabinetmaking. I have a huge interest in tools, structural design, mechanical engineering, and materials science, but am not good at finishing projects neatly! Currently I'm learning bowlturning, and having vast fun with my new (old) lathe. I've got a chainsaw, and lots of chances to salvage resiidential trees, so I hope to be cutting up some big wood into bowl blanks soon.
