I got into woodworking later in life. I am mostly self taught. I like to read manuals and be inspired by projects in magazines and images I find on the web. I love designing pieces as much as building them. I don't use any existing plans, all my work is original. I use the computer to model everything and then print out drawings for the shop. I like big and small projects from a bird house to a bedroom set

I believe woodworking is a great blend between both left brain and right brain. And I like that.

Thanks Todd. This looks to be a great resource and sounding board. Both of which makes everyone better.
