I have been piddling in woodworking for about 13 years and last year was shown how to turn a pen on a lathe. It has been downhill since then. I have since bought a med sized lathe, learned to turn bowls, platters and ornaments, and just got finished today setting up my dust collector. I am a frugal shopper and have bought 80 % if what I use on craigslist here in GA... I like some flatwork and working on my shop (which is always a work in progress). I always like hearing from any woodworkers but especially ones close by.
