I have always been a do-it-your selfer and a tool collector. My wife thinks I choose projects purely on whether or not it requires me to buy a new tool. I am a mechanical engineer and work in the field of structural dynamics in the aero-space industry, I spend what time I can in my shop where I dabble with word-working and rock polishing. I have always loved the outdoors and enjoy being in the woods as much as making things out of wood. I am generally a creature of necessity and build projects for my family and friends. I have observed Lumber Jocks to be an excellent site with many great people and projects; I think I can learn a lot here and appreciate all the warm welcomes I have received already. I have posted a few of my recent projects; I am currently working on shop updates (dust collection) and organization.

Another Table Saw UpgradeA quality cross cut sled has been on my to-do list for some time. I have seen many plans in the magazines over the years but have never built one. Now that I have finished my first cross cut sled, I don’t know how I got ...
