Trojan Sawhorses, Tough and sturdy
I do some subcontract for the US Navy building shipping crates for Aircraft Carrier Flight-deck equipment.Since I do the work on-site I needed some collapsible or folding sawhorses.I bought a couple of the yellow painted steel sawhorses from Home depot, but they moved too much when working on heavier crates (over 500 pounds).I ended up with some made by Toughbuilt which were better, but after a while they loosened up. And since they were made of steel I was always concerned about cutting or d...
Magnogrip Quick Snap Magnetic Tape Measure Holder...Redesign is MUCH BETTER !!!
If you read my first review I was much under-impressed with the actual design of the belt clip.Magnogrip corporation responded to my complaint and shipped me a redesigned belt clip.I put it on my jeans workbelt that afternoon and was impressed with its tenacity…I actually COULDN’T get the clip off without taking the belt off. Today I wore it most of the day in the shop and around the house even though I didn’t do any real measuring just to get a feel for it. The clip is P...

Update to this review at the bottom labeled “UPDATE” Yet another $225 mistake, and the reason I KNOW when I buy something without thinking about it for about a month that I’ll probably goof. I just do a little work around my house, but my loving wife lets me buy nice tools. We figure the cost of a tool is less than hiring someone to do the work. I’d been looking at miter saws for a while; I have two radial arm saws in the shop, but it’s a pain to run back a...
