How much can you make out of scraps.

I was piddling around the workshop the other day and as usual I just want to make something. Well I decided that I would make a air compressor caddy that would afford me a work table on top so I could have someplace to put down the various tools that I used on various projects. I didn’t want to go out and buy some lumber for this so I started looking around for some scraps that would suit the purpose. Did I have any scraps? Hmmmmm. Like most wood workers we just don’t throw out anything unless it is just not worth cutting, staining, or using for drawer pulls. Long story short, I found what I needed and got to work. It wasn’t pretty, but it was functional and it suit my purpose and I got to cut something up. Hooray. Well I will insert the picture once I get my camera to work. I need to get more organized in my scrap pile. You know, two finger stack, five finger stack, and ten finger stack, that’s how many fingers it takes to pick up. Naaaaah, I think I like it just the way it is.
