I am mainly a woodcarver, but also build furniture, outdoor structures, and do some remodeling. I retired from the Army about 17 years ago after 22 1/2 years. I've been woodworking since I was a kid and have thoroughly enjoyed it. A decent wood shop helped keep me sane while on an unaccompanied tour in Panama many years ago where I learned a lot of different techniques. We will soon be moving to a new house where I'll be making several built-ins, wainscoting, cabinets, fireplace mantles, and furniture. Plus, I'll have a lot more room for my wood shop!

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
