In the past nine months my wife has undergone 3 major surgeries and nine hospitalizations, so in trying to keep things together between work, home, and the hospital I have been unable to get into my workshop, my yard, or any type of extracurricular activity.

Things are looking up my wife is getting healthier and recovering, so I am able to sneak away to play once more in the wonderful world of wood. I look forward to cruising the Lumberjocks site and interacting with everyone here.

I know it was an ordeal that didn’t seem like it would end, and I am glad that it is turning out better for you and your wife. God bless and enjoy your time back to the wood crafting.

Thanks everyone, my wife and I appreciate all of your well wishes she is looking forward to being healthy enough to go to up-state New York at the end of December for the birth of our first grandchild.

No I have got to get into the shop to build a cradle.
