My wife knows little to nothing about woodworking, that being said when she saw the small size of the latest project I am working on I got the standard “You be careful, I don’t need you to cut off a finger” speech and the infamous look. She thinks like Tim Taylor of Tool Time I will use the equipment with the most power for every project which means my 10 inch table saw to make a 1/87th scale (HO Scale) Bedroom Set where the bed is less than 1 inch long.
Little does she know I do this type of work with X-Acto tools and a lighted magnifying set up. So to appease her I told her I would put together a “Safety Sign” and hang it where I would be sure to see it when I use my table saw. Here is what I came up with, it is one of my favorite scenes from Weird Al Yankovic’s movie UHF.
