Beautiful burls! I’ve only used some of the Madrone Burl that I purchased from you and it’s really strong wood.

There ya go again… Creating lust in my heart and causing me to covet my neighbor’s burl! I’ve got 5 acres of woods and all the burl on my property is limited to two small cherry trees about as thick as my leg… The burls are gnarly fooball shaped and in 50 years or so, they are going to make some nice stuff, but I’m not going to be around to harvest them. I need to call my logging buddies and go to their jobs and pick up more crotches and stumps and any burls I can find. They leave this stuff in the woods to rot. They know it’s valuable, but they don’t have any idea how to harvest it and how to find a buyer for it. Thanks for sharing! I’m sure the guitar makers will be all over your burls.
