Holy moly. That’s a log.
I’m more interested in that truck, though!
That’s a serious piece of equipment. A 650?

You’re going to pop a tire or squirt out a bearing! I hope you get back home without breaking down.

Greg, looks like that log will have some nice figured areas…especially around the middle where the limb crotchs are. That will certainly make some great tables…etc. 3 tons? Wow….that was some dense wood…how long on the ground? Looks like the bad economy is not having any effect on the availability of nice wood where you are.

Greg, what kind of wood is this? Looks like a dream job opening up the slab to see what treasure is within!

Edit, Oops, missed the Maple word!

Al – you should already have a truck like that – just for taking the groceries home – makes gettin cross the holler easier. lol

That is going make a terrific work bench. And a beautiful truck

^You’re right, David. You know when a guy from WV says you have a big truck, you’ve got a BIG truck. I’ve got a Chevy 3/4 ton that O-burl’s truck could probably flatten. That’s some kind of truck.

Gee I must be a real Lumberjock. I had to go back to see the truck. That hunk-o-wood had my undivided attention.

Oregon.. Just what is that BEAST? It makes my F350 Crew Cab Diesel FWD Dually look tiny.By the way, mine gets about 14 around town and a little better on the highway.. Still a bit pricey to drive a lot these days.
