My Sister just emailed me this picture. I though it was pretty incredible. Does any one know about this tree?
It is suppose to be in South Africa.

That’s the Disneyland tree of life. It’s artifical.

Very nice, nonetheless.

I was there a few years ago and noticed that all of Disney, the building, castles, walkways, etc are all of the same substance. I asked around while at the park and was told that Disney had patented a combination fiberglass/cement mixture and method of sculpting with molds with this stuff. Everything is made of it. It has a 100 year life expectancy.

I knew it was a little too much for mother nature, hand to be by the hand of man or God ;-))

Even if fake, you have to give the artisians credit for doing an excellent job of faux wood carving.

Maybe some of these carvings will spark an idea in some lumberjocks.
