Maple Slab

Bought this log from a guy how pulled this out of his stream. This is a spalted maple with crotch figure in some of it. There is a 6’ x 36”. The other one is 10’ x 36” these are producing some some nice slabs.

Nice? Nope, it’s Burl wood porn. The only definition I know of wood porn is: Any depiction of wood that causes wood lust when viewed. If looking at this log getting slabbed makes you want to build something, you’re a wood porn addict…

hi you are one lucky person to be able to get your hands on some much beautiful timber its not fair that you have all that timber and i cannot get any of it i would be happy with a little piece thanks for making cry all over my laptop with jealousy just kidding great job keep on making sawdust .
