I just cut into some more Black walnut. The 2 pieces are 14 1/2×32 x 4
I keep getting impressed by our creator!

I rarely buy walnut (I’m a mahogany fan), but are you offering this for sale? I could put it to good use by cutting it into veneers. I like to be able to work with a particlular wood more than once, and slicing highly figured wood into veneers allows me that option.

Greg, this is absolutely gorgeous. I have never seen walnut with this much figuring to it.

Hey Scott, Did you check out the other one that I put on my projects? I think that the earlier one is 10X what these. but those are top notch also. Yes Cap Skully you are so right. It is a good think that I just cut and you guys are the artist!

Hey Greg, I just want to make sure I got the math right. You said the one on your project was 28×14.5×5 and sold for $60 bdft. Does that equal $845?

No matter what you do with that wood…it will look good…..that is mighty pretty….Awesome grain…..The figuring looks mystical…...That would be a joy to turn….or would be so on any other project…

Bothus, No this one is $45 bf so that makes it $560.00. Guitar Wood is spendy. That last piece I sold is going on a $10,000.00 guitar.
Sedcokid- most of my burl I sell to guitar builders or artist. I love my job!
You are right Reggie, I can’t wait to see what will be made of it.
