“New” shop cabnets. White cabnets were salvaged our of our old kitchen. I made new tops of 3/4” BC plywood base layer and 3/4” sandy ply top faced with 1×3 spruce. Edges routed and soaked with boiled lin seed oil. I added puck lights under the wall cabnets and built the recess to receive my chop saw so that it is flush with the counter top. Not shown, I added a 1/4” high strip to act as a back stop flush with the fence on my saw and left and right hand steel tape measures running either side of the saw blade, glued to the counter top.
