Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

A love of wood and a creative urge sent me back to school at 29 years old to learn the art of Cabinetmaking. After almost 18 months of full-time studies i am nearing the end of this great program. The program is mostly solid wood furniture oriented however touches on the ever-growing and ever important role of sheet-stock. The instructors at the school have been awesome bar one (will not mention names) and their collective knowledge and experience has helped tremendously.

I work with off-cuts and salvaged woods mostly, i have a good relationship with various woodworking shops in the local area whom i get a decent amount of wood from. We maximize each piece and create what we can from it so as to further reduce the waste.

I am also addicted to the Lathe!!!!!!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a little over a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
