I have 2 rooms in my barn dedicated to woodworking, one room for machining operations (sawdust production:), and one for benchwork/assembly/coffee drinking, etc…, nothing fancy, most of the tools are older secondhand acquisitions but I am happy with this setup. One wish is that I could justify heating it for winter use but I don’t see that happening in my lifetime. If it’s too cold for comfort it can wait.

Cold winter days are made for working in the shop. I look forward to those winter days when I can’t work outside, just get to play in my shop. What you have built is great, two separate room is a luxury.

Thank You Noodle and Helluvawreck for the nice comments, I do consider myself very lucky to have this space to work in, I live on the family farm, 3rd generation, grandpa bought it right before the depression and managed to hang on to it thru the hard times. It is not an active farm anymore, but I try to preserve it best I can. My profile picture my wife and I are on the roof of the south barn, she was helping me replace shingles from some wind damage we had a couple years ago. My current project is on the bench in the pic, building a grandfather clock for my youngest daughters wedding gift coming up in august.

Nice shop. I assume you have the tractor to go with the name.
