Box Swap

Today the box for the box swap came in. Well crafted and pretty wood (looks like oak) but the damn Post Office had the box for 14 days (sent priority) and mangled the outside and damaged the wooden box. I can repair it but there is no excuse for this. The sender should report it to the P.O. and collect on the automatic insurance that comes with priority. Take a look at the pics. And if the sender sees this, contact me, please.

The USPS should be made to pay for the damage, meaning sending it back to the providing person and paying for the repair. Unfortunately, that just sends them closer to bankruptcy.

That’s awful! Looks like it once was a nice box :-(

Take a look at the tracking record. The USPS is too inept to even file for bankruptcy.

Pretty sure you’ll not have too much luck getting an insurance claim with the USPS and even if you do it’ll most likely be issued to your great grand children as they enter an assisted living home when they reach their golden years.

Nothing new here. Our gov’t agencies just don’t give a rat’s ass about the customer. Their motto is ignore and it will go away but what can you do. The box looks like it was run over with a truck. It is just disappointing to see this craftsman hard work destroyed. It can be put back together but it won’t be the same.
