Here is a picture of the first “real” piece of furniture I have made. It is made from choke cherry trees that were cut down on my parents property and then milled on site. It was a lot of fun working with wood from a completely ruff state to the finished product. The bed was sanded to 320 grit and then three coats of Arm R Seal Semi-Gloss finish was added with a final sanding of 1500 before the last coat. It is nice and smooth and should last a life time or longer.
