Very cool ideas for both the aprons and the magazine.

Reader contribution to the magazine would lower costs. Dick, Don, Mark, Dusty, et. al. would be great at writing their reviews, step by step methods, etc.

The magazine could be an electronic only version (PDF) so no printing costs involved.

I like the idea of Printing and the costs because it gets Martin money… they call it Advertising. Every Major Name Tool Manufacturer would send Martin Money, and that’s my goal. Make Martin money. Then one day he will send me a t-shirt.

They could advertise in an electronic magazine as well. The bigger question is would they pay for it?

I bet Martin is building up Lumberjocks so he can take it public, probably selling it to Google for multi-billion dollar/euro deal.

Can we get in on the action Martin?

A magazine is a really big bite right now… but something worth considering!

I was just looking at shop aprons the other day. Haven’t bought one yet, but if there is a chance of a LJ shop apron being available, I’d certainly throw that into my pool of options!

Just make sure the shop apron has long strings. Some of us are not the thin types we used to be years ago.

I bet Martin could also add some plane covers to the list as well for you Ethan.

Like plane socks? No, I’d probably not be interested in that, Bill.

That seems like something a collector would have. I’m just a user – and a new one at that.

Ha. good idea, Obi.. but as Ethan said it’s a big bite right now. However step-by-step improvements are on the way. I’m finishing cool new blog feature that will move us closer to the magazine-like look ;)

And Bill.. if you have some good contacts in Google let me know.. we can split 50/50 if you can secure multi-billion dollar deal LOL

for the magazine, you can have like three projects an issue every 6 weeks. Jocks can take their own pictures. And it might be a little soon, but it is possible.

Didn’t see this one coming, but it is definately something worth investigating…. Now I know why I didn’t jump on the Graphic Design position down at FWW recently!

I’m tellin ya Martin, there’s something here. And it looks like we got a Graphic Designer.

I majored in Bus Admin, and this definately has something. We really need to talk, so, I guess we should do this in P.M.

Hold out Obi, take the one that pays the best, or with the most perks.

The real question is who gets to be the first centerfold? Martin, Dick, Mark, Don…let me guess the creative consultant!
