« Part 2: 10-01-09 Part 3 of Misc. series no next part

not much happening today, i did have to plug in my old heater in the shop cause it was just a little nippy today. i hope we have some decent weather yet before snow flies cause i have some stuff i need to get done, just wish i had a little help. my knee has really been in a lot of pain this week, need to get to the doctor and get it looked at, drain some fluid or something?
anyway, i need to order some studs and get my free standing wood rack started so i can move the wood out of my shop and into the shed.
need to get someone over to hook up my compressor too, just need to run some line across my garage rafters and down one wall to the junction box and another wall to the compressor. i wish i could do it but my ankles and knees are in to bad of shape to stand on a damn ladder or it would be so simple to do.
nuttin else new, catch ya next time.

Hey Northerner,

Hope you get that compressor installed. Was looking at them at Lowe’s today. Someday, if nothing else for the nailers. Hope that knee gets better…...

the compressor is sitting there in the garage up against the south wall. i just need to find someone to come over and do that wiring for me. it really sucks not being able to do something as simple as climbing a ladder and i cant even tell you how painful it is to try and neal down on the ground. i just didnt want to pay an electrician $50+ per hour to do a simple job. im sure i will get something figured out. thanx

oh my! its been a very long time since i have posted to my blog. if i could blame it on an alien abduction that would be good… only if someone believed it!

can you believe i still havent gotten my big air compressor hooked up yet? its true but i just havent really needed it as i have been getting by with my little one in the shop but it will be hooked up by this spring, i promise cause its time for a good cleaning (blow j*b) in the shop. start at one end and blow everything out the door at other end of shop. lots of dust on stored boards, under machines, in machines, on the walls, on top of lights, etc…

and once that is done i need to get a hole hacked in my east wall and get my a/c unit mounted cause im sure it will be a nice hot summer again and i wont put up with it when i can have a nice cool shop to work in. my little heater i have for the winter takes a few hours to warm the shop up when its really cold out but it eventually gets nice and cozy in there.

i finally got my bench dog pro router cabinet put together last week but im putting a kreg table on it and the two dont really match so had to do some modifying and also been waiting on some mounting brackets from bench dog and they finally arrived today so will try and get those on tomorrow and then put my pc router in the jessem lift and get that on the table and then mount my kreg fence and should be ready to fire it up! cant wait to try it out, been waiting a long time for a router table cause i have a lot of stuff to build on it.

anyway, i will try and post more tomorrow and try not to be such a stranger to my blog. i will also fill in the gaps between my first and last posts and also get some pictures posted.

How’s them knees and ankles? Hope things have gotten better. I don’t have any problem with my knees and ankles, but I hate like hell to get down on my knees. I know it for days afterwards.

I got a little 6 gallon pancake compressor and 3 nailguns recently. They were bought with efficiency in mind, and they are doing their job. Used them today (#23pin, #18brad, #16finish) Turns out that is a good combination for me. Read an article in FWW, and it got me off of my duff and I got the compressor and guns.

Hope you get your AC and compressor going, and have a good one….....
